Kerslake Pottery

The Kerslake Pottery Studio: Heather Kerslake works mainly in terra cotta, producing pieces that are whimsical, often mythical, and sometimes humorous. At the same time they are engagingly functional ranging in scale from majolica-decorated jugs, bowls and platters, to larger hand-built sculptures.  Whilst Roger’s work features thrown ware handbuilt vessels and murals in Raku, Stoneware, and Porcelain – this celebrates his attachment to Fine Art.  Both have works shown internationally which has resulted in numerous awards for excellence in their craft.  Heather graduated from Alfred University, New York.  Roger completed his Fine Art and Ceramics at Goldsmiths College in London University in 1960.
