My creative inspiration and focus centres on the myriad wonders of the natural world and I strive to share that beauty with others through my functional art ceramics. I see each sturdy, ready-to-be-used-and-enjoyed piece as a well-built canvas of sorts upon which I can add some pretty into your everyday living.
Pottery is a second career for me, having first trained and worked as an Educator in various school boards in Ontario. Hillsdale is my home base where I work in the very same location that once-upon-a-time housed “Hillsdale Pottery”. That I get to do this creative work that I love in the same space as many incredible artists before me inspires me to learn and practise, to continue to hone my skills and build my own unique voice in this wonderful world of art and artisans.
