Gary Brierley

Gary Brierley of Brierley Pottery has been creating functional and decorative pottery for 47 years.  Gary has taken part in the Images Studio Tour since the beginning - 41 years!!!

Brierley Pottery is a fully equipped pottery studio offering custom lessons to individuals and small groups.  Many interested people have given a try on the potter’s wheel making bowls, mugs and sometimes a mess!  Gary also provides lessons in hand building with clay slabs producing platters, and other unique pieces.  Pottery is a great outlet where you can express your individual creativity and have fun with friends and family.

This year you can expect to find many traditional pieces such as mugs, bowls, platters, teapots, berry bowls and vases.  There will be some other unique pieces with the addition of some new glazes and techniques.
