Bio

My art practice involves oil painting, drawing and printmaking. Classical art training combined with a degree in Visual Arts allows me to express and interpret portraits and still life images with an interest in visual mediation to achieve deeper meaning. What appears as simple collections of common objects, invites closer inspection to reveal layers of commentary surrounding identity, gender, our environment and other social practices.
