Bio

Welcome to Tamara’s world of photography and artistry, where she finds inspiration in nature and offbeat locations, capturing their beauty through her camera lens. She has an enthusiastic devotion to blending photography with natural mediums such as wood and stone, resulting in unique and captivating pieces. Her distinctive collection highlights her ability to print photographs directly onto stone, using eco-friendly UV-cured inks that resist fading. The result is a series of one-of-a-kind pieces, each with its own story and charm. These functional works of art can be enjoyed as unique, conversation-starting pieces or mounted on reclaimed barn board. She has expanded her collection into the world of eCommerce, allowing customers to easily browse and purchase her art online. Whether clients choose curbside pick-up in Horseshoe Valley or courier shipping within Canada and the USA, she ensures that everyone can experience the beauty and adventure behind each photograph. Her passion for travel, kayaking and giving back to the community continually fuels her photography. She captures breathtaking moments while exploring new destinations and seeks to convey the essence of her experiences through her art. Beyond her stone and wood pieces, she offers her images on fine art acid-free papers, complemented by a variety of custom float frames, providing even more options for displaying her work. We invite you to immerse yourself in a world of artistic wonder during the Thanksgiving Studio Tour at our studio nestled in picturesque Horseshoe Valley, where creativity flourishes and warm autumn hues come alive. Visitors are warmly welcomed to the “Art On Stone” studio year-round by appointment. To schedule a visit, simply call or email. Alternatively, you can explore an extensive selection of her art at The Shipyards Muskoka Marketplace, located at the Muskoka Wharf in Gravenhurst.
