Jennifer’s love of history, architecture and archeology has heavily influenced her design aesthetic. Her jewellery is inspired by forms, symbols and patterns found in ancient architecture, archeological finds and exotic locations. Bringing history back to life in a contemporary form is one of her passions. She has translated this inspiration into wearable, sophisticated works of jewellery. Traveling through the Mediterranean many years ago she was mesmerized by the Architecture found in various cultures specifically Roman and Greek. Once she started noticing the little design details, she saw them everywhere. Most recently she has created the Architectural and Saxon Series that incorporate inspiration from design elements found in decorative tiles, architecture and ancient Saxon decorative patterns. Jennifer works primarily in Silver and Gold using genuine gemstones, unique pearls and hand cut lapidary that compliment her style and work. Jennifer Wolfe was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. In 2011 she graduated from a 3-year Goldsmithing Program at Georgian College. Her work can currently be seen at Metzger Studio in Barrie and in DB Silversmith Design in Port Perry. Jennifer currently lives and works in Barrie, operating out of her downtown Barrie studio while also teaching Lapidary part time for the Goldsmithing Program at Georgian College.
